I Love My Team! - A message from Eryn

"I always knew I would do this, I just didn't really know how. Many people have helped me learn the trade. My first mentor was Jody Joseph who co-wrote with me when I was a teenager, helping me understand the mechanics of taking my thoughts, feelings and melodies and making them a song. I then cut my teeth playing live gigs under the guidance of my Aunt Lori and her band Sundance as well as working with Jody Joseph and the Average Joes. It wasn’t until I met the members of Soul Project that I began to understand what it took to successfully launch and run an original music band. My thanks to each of you as you all are the foundation on which my career is built.

"I can't do enough to thank all the selfless musicians and industry people with whom I have ever had the pleasure to work.   Your dedication and confidence in me continues to inspire me.  I will never be able to say 'thank you' enough.  For all of you who have run through hell and back with me, have played to an empty room one night and then a thousand people the next, with whom we have gotten a little too drunk, a little too emotional, a little carried away and always underpaid: I value every note and beat you have played, every press release and blog you've written, every minute of promo you've given me,  but most of all, I value your friendship.

"I love my team!"

Meet Some of My Team!

Pat Ruh (Lead guitar, Songwriter, Musical Director)
Pat’s distinctive style combines rock, blues and jazz into a fusion of his love for all types of music. He started playing guitar at the age seven, inspired by Ace Frehley and Angus Young and influenced by Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mike Stern and Eric Clapton. Writing, recording and performing professionally since his early teens, Pat has several albums and a movie soundtrack to his credit. Starting in rock and metal bands, he spent the 90’s on the NYC post-hardcore scene, touring extensively and performing at venues such as CBGB’s and Roseland Ballroom. After, he turned his attention to jazz and classical studies and continues to make his living as both a guitar instructor and musician. Pat was nominated for Top Guitarist in the 2007, 2008, and 2009 Asbury Music Awards.
Eryn: "Pat is more than my business and songwriting partner.  He is my best friend and musical soulmate.  In 2009 we made our partnership official and formed Rewbie Music, LLC.  We have written many songs together, including "Work so Hard", "Don't You See", "One More Melody" and "Window Pane," which are included on my albums. And the list goes on, we continue to grow as a songwriting team and have already written enough songs for album number 3!
Tanya Peterson (Backing vocals, Viola, Violin, Cello)
Tanya's musical journey began at age nine when she learned violin though school and taught herself piano. Through the years her hunger for music grew and she expanded her knowledge to include vocals, brass, percussion, and more strings. She is currently a public school music teacher and also plays with the band Geena and DragsterTanya was nominated in the Top Supporting Musician Asbury Music Award category in 2009.
Eryn: "Tanya is a treasured member of my team, she originally joined me during sessions for the first album on strings. Her spirit, spunk, humor and talent inspired me then and I knew we needed her as part of our team.  She continues to inspire me daily.  Tanya brought a whole new life to our stage and having her beside me when performing rachets my energy up to the highest level.  There ain't nobody can shake it like Tanya!
Arne Wendt (Keyboards and Backing Vocals)
Arne has written articles for Keyboard Magazine and School of Rock Magazine. He has performed with such musicians as Noel Redding, Bernard Purdie, Chuck Rainey, Walter "Wolfman" Washington, Anthony Krizan, Chuck Treece, Jeff Young, Eric Lindell and many other talented musicians. He has also programmed synths for Bernie Worrell, Moog Music and Tom Brislin (Debbie Harry and Marion Raven tours). He had the honor to share the stage with Dr. Herb Deutsch on a lecture on "The Era and Importance of the Moog Synthesizer."
Eryn: "I met Arne when he played in Soul Project. He is just amazing on keyboards. He arrived at his first band rehearsal with no charts or notes of any kind - he had already learned all my songs forward and backward.  Arne always steps up to the plate for me when the going gets rough and he always delivers even more than you could ever ask.  A true and talented professional."
